Welcome students!I'm eager to begin a new school year and happy to be teaching ESL 221 English Composition. I've really enjoyed the writing classes that I've taught in the past 15 years of my teaching career. I find the process rewarding, but I recognize that it is both difficult and time-consuming.
The time and effort required for students to plan, draft, revise, rewrite, revise again, edit, and proofread is significant. The time it takes for teachers read, review, compare drafts, analyze, evaluate, score, and write feedback is equally significant!
I promise to do my part, and I challenge you to give your best effort, as well.
The class roster looks diverse and fun, so I'm really looking forward to a great semester!
